PENAGA DRESSER SDN BHD has come a long way since it commenced operations in 1992, which began as a strategic partnership between a Malaysian entrepreneur with Grove Italia Spa under the name of Penaga Grove Sdn Bhd, supplying solely Grove Ball valves c/w Ledeen Actuators to the Oil and Gas sector. With the acquisition of Grove by Dresser USA back in June 1995, Penaga moved another step ahead by expanding its services to represent all products under the Dresser brand name.

To reflect its position as being part of the global Dresser group, Penaga Grove later changed its name to Penaga Dresser effective October 2001. Practicing Dresser's policy and working procedures, Penaga Dresser also has direct access to all Dresser's manufacturing plants worldwide.

The rapid growth in the Malaysian oil and gas industry also saw changes in the business environment in which the Company operates and the business direct it took. From a humble beginning of merely supplying Grove ball valves back in 1992 and Dresser's valves at later stage, the Company has indeed gone from strength to strength and its business activities now have further expanded to providing total valve management and supporting services.

The Company has opened a manufacturing/assembly plant in Kemaman, Terengganu in December 2002. With a large installed base of their products in Malaysia, the plant will provide a fully guaranteed range of valve products and services to local users. A similar but smaller service center is also now opened inside Kemaman Supply Base to cater for offshore operations. The Company also has a branch sales office & workshop service facility in Miri.
